Cyrus Boger was a homeopathic doctor who practiced in West Virginia in the first third of of the twentienth century. He is probably best known for translating Boenninghausen's repertory into English. The card repertory is a distillation of Boenninghausen's method. The original version of the card repertory had one card for each symptom. Each remedy with that symptom had a hole punch in the card. To do a repertorization, you took the cards covering the symptoms of the illness, lined them up, and looked for the holes that went through all the cards. Thus it was an eliminative repertorization. A remedy had to be present in all the symptoms to show up in the results. This script has the same symptoms and remedies as Boger's, but instead of doing an eliminative repertorization, it counts how many times each remedy occurs in the symptoms and displays the remedies occurring in the most symptoms.
